Within 24 hours you can cancel your ticket, and you get full refund without any penalty. However, passengers with non-refundable tickets if met with an emergency, the airlines can’t make changes to fare rules. 

Will you get refund for your ticket which you didn’t used?

All Air Canada tickets (Only refundable tickets) that are not used, if canceled within 24 hours will be refunded without penalty. Passengers with non-refundable tickets won’t be able to make changes to their flight or cancel tickets.
